Maham House

Maham House is a grand manor house in Devon, England.* It has been said to have “harmonious dissimilarity in an eclectic sort of way.” The southern half of the structure, dating from the 1880s, is a splendid example of Neo-Renaissance architecture. The North Wing, built around 1600 and demolished in the 1970s, was Elizabethan. Although the North Wing was still standing in 1918, it was falling apart.
